Day Services East Setauket

Day Services in East Setauket serves individuals with multiple physical, developmental and behavioral challenges.

Individual programs are designed to assist each person reach his or her maximum potential while increasing independence and achieving goals of daily living including communication, money management, personal hygiene, behavioral modification, and increased socialization opportunities.

I like to come to program to look at books and do my jobs. I like the Titans, (basketball team). I like Mo and Dee. (her teachers). I love to sing in the chorus and dance.

Laurel, Lives in a FREE Residence

The program offers a variety of activities throughout the day providing meaningful and positive experiences.  Activities offered include art classes, music classes, recreation classes offering a variety of games, basketball club, job club, health and safety groups, socialization groups, and advocacy groups to name a few.  The program is also involved in numerous volunteer opportunities within the community including local churches, nursing homes, and food pantries.  Community outings also include recreational outings to local theaters, bowling alleys, parks, and community centers. Special events are frequent throughout the year and include summertime BBQs, holiday celebrations, musical performances, and dances.
